 Our man, Eddie Ferranti, made it out to the House of Blues to catch Yes' performance. From his mouth, it was like being transported back to the 70s for a night of killer prog-rock. Check out his review to get the full scoop! It was a great night.

 It was 10 years ago this month that I covered my first show for the now-defunct Rockzone.com. HoustonMusicReview.com was born from the Texas branch of that website and we've been plodding along since then bringing the most extensive coverage of the Houston music scene anywhere. For our celebration, we got Otis Gibbs to come to town and bring it at Almost Austin. I put my band in the opening slot and we had a heck of a night. Thanks to those who came out!

 Last year at KPFT's Birthday Bash, we stumbled across a great band from up in Canada called Po Girl. It's been a long wait for them to venture back down to Texas, but they did recently and our man Eddie Ferranti was there to take it all in. Check out his review and photos to see what went down.
